Uniform Consumer Credit CodeSAFETRAC Uniform Consumer Credit Code deals with an organisation’s obligations under the UCCC, and contains modules on disclosure, documentation, post contract obligations, and special contracts. Debt CollectionSAFETRAC Debt Collection details the legal obligations of collectors and creditors in the collection of debts, with particular reference to individual debtors. The course covers both the Trade Practices Act 1974 and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001 (ASIC Act). It also focuses on the guidelines that apply to debt collection as published by the ACCC and ASIC. General Insurance Code of PracticeSAFETRAC General Insurance Code of Practice focuses on the voluntary industry code developed by the Insurance Council of Australia Limited. It ensures that all employees within an organisation that is a signatory to the Code are trained on the code and understand and abide by it. Responsible OfficersSAFETRAC Responsible Officers focuses on how ASIC assesses nominated Responsible Officers and what obligations a Responsible Officer has. The manual covers these obligations which are set out in the Corporations Act 2001 and in the AFS license conditions. Private Health Insurance Code of ConductSAFETRAC Private Health Insurance Code of Conduct focuses on the voluntary industry code developed to enhance the relationship between health funds and consumers. It ensures that all employees within an organisation that has signed up to the Code are trained on the code and understand and abide by it. APRA Fit and ProperSAFETRAC APRA Fit and Proper course is set around Prudential Standard GPS 520 which applies to general insurers and authorised non-operating holding companies under the Insurance Act 1973. It ensures that individuals who hold positions of responsibility understand and abide by the minimum standards set out by this standard.
